Theres a feature in some sony vaio laptops where you press a 'www' button above the keyboard when its switched off that allows you to access the internet in seconds rather than waiting for it to start up. Is there a way to install this sort of thing on a macbook pro 13 inch? Its pretty quick at starting up but sometimes i'll switch it off and then suddenly remember something i wanted to look at on the internet so i'd have to wait for it to power on again.

If you connect with the AirPort Wi-Fi, you enable the Menu to show the AirPort and you can quickly enable or disable the network connection.
Alos you can program one of the keys to do that.

Not that I know of but I have a little bit of a different approach. If you just sleep your MacBook, then you wont have to wait for the whole startup sequence.
