quick keynote questions

1. i opened a powerpoint presentation in keynote '08, but it wont open in '06. when i opened it in 08 it said it was missing a font but it still opened and replaced the font. in 06 it wont open at all. is there a way to force it to open and replace the fonts in 06

2. how do i apply a slide background to all slides. this is really easy in powerpoint and i cant find out how to do it in keynote and its really making me start to not like keynote

1. Have you tried saving it as iWork '06 in Keynote'08?

2. You need to edit the master slide to change backgrounds throughout.

aight thanks, the problem was that i edited a powerpoint presentation in 08 then i lost it and so i had to use 06 on my computer
