Quick Look not working properly?

Hi. Recently got the new macbok pro M1 Pro and this is driving me nuts. I live off of quicklook but when I press spacebar, its not displaying the item in full like it should (or playing a video etc). I have to physically open the file. How do I fix this? I cant find a setting for it anywhere.

I believe it’s a bug in Monterey 12.1. Restarting Finder seems to solve it temporarily.

THANK YOU! — this was driving me crazy. I live off quick view as well. restarting it worked— but hopefully this gets resolved asap
