hi guys,Ive Just thrown Away an aukey 30,000mah powerbank for safety reasons
How much noise should a normal powerbank Make?
This is Getting really confusing i googled it ,contacted multiple Respected powerbank brands including griffin energizer, aukey with no luck
Some times i cant hear any noise even when i put the powerbank near my ear (absolutly zero noise)
Other times I can hear beepings and Kind of Wierd White noises only when put near my year And Ive tested 3powerbanks and i never drop tested these stuff from buildings or put em in wierd tempratures and i Just use the Normal Originial cables and Sinpky plug it in To my iphone 6S plus
So Heres the Question in short:
Are Powerbanks from respected brands like anker, aukey, sony, energizer, griffin, ravpower etc designed To make Zero noise even when put near year or making Small noises (including beeping or white noise type of sounds) is totally normal at times (in pther words they are designed to sometimes make Those noises)
And I know That Li-ion batteries dont Makes noises so it must come From the Circuit ...
But again im not sure wheather its normal or not and Unfortunatly Support teams of these brands Didnt clarify this for me
God bless yall and please respond quick cause im really in need of a powerbank
Sorry for punctuations, and typpos i was in a hurry when i typed this
God bless❤️✝️

Edit1:Its really strange The same powerbank that made that wierd noise when near ear lastnight makes zero noise right now I really need your help guys!

All I can say is that I have several Anker & RAVPower powerbanks of varying sizes and none have made noise.
You mean even when you pit near your ear?
Like Absolutly no noise or inaudible when not too near ear?
[doublepost=1518325880][/doublepost]Unfortunatly none of my powerbanks are ankers Or ravpowers I have Griffins And energizers and Had an aukey 30,000mah
One thing i heared is High capacity Banks might make More noise
Are your powerbanks 10-15k mah or more?

I have this 26800 mAh RAVPower:

and I just tried it with my 10.5" iPP and couldn't hear a thing with my ear right up against it (top and bottom).

seems Like everythings wierd here
Ordered a Griffin wall charger survivor As soon as I plugged it in and Touched the lightning cable Connected to it
It was nearly electrocuting me
I threw Out the damn charger cable and Everything conndcted to It
Seriously, whats Wrong woth quality controls these days
And Well Ive contacted anker support and they told ke a little noise is Fine
Maybe Your powerbank isnt designedto make Any noise but my powerbanks arent 20dollar cheap Chinese powerbanks
Energizer, griffin, aukey Are respected brands and i dont Think they would Make Faulty brand new chargers
I mean all of my brand new powerbanks cant be faulty but im not sure
If it can kill me then im throwing these out too and warranty is not an option here Cause Its very far From where I live ,plus They probably Wont replace a device for Sth like this and Most probably They wont test the device to see wheather It electrocutes them or not and replace It ,and in never buying another Griffin Wall charger
Maybe it kills The Customer Thats why it has life time warranty!
Im relaly confused right now bro
Anyways thank God im still alive

RAVPower is not a cheap Chinese brand - they make high-quality products.

If your getting shocked from charger then bad earth.

Some power banks will make a sound as some laptop chargers do.
The smoothing/regulating circuit has coils etc and these can sometimes make a sound.

my mum acer charger made a odd sound for 5 years and all was fine.
I have had many cheap nasty power banks and only 2 made a sound both where over 10,000mAh.

Agree - if you're getting shocked then there is a problem but as I say, RAVPower is not a cheap Chinese knockoff brand. I also checked my 12000 mAh Anker powerbank and it does not make any noise.

I didnt say These Brnads are cheap chinese brands theyre Respected brands That specialize in making powerbanks
But since I bought energizer batteries as a Kid and knew Griffin For years i trusted these companies and They are doing fine for me Just occasional noise Is something i dont know Wheather i should beconcerned of or not...

I Googled "power bank makes noise" and the majority of replies where noise is apparent say it is not an issue. Is it high-pitched? I wonder if perhaps you're more sensitive to it than I am - a lot like coil whine with a lot of laptops, some people can hear it but others cannot, mainly due to the pitch.

Im 18 and younger people do hear Wider freuqncies i guess but thats probably not the case with this one, cause it aint Super high pitched,it is high pitched But Not that high pitched...
Right now im charging with my hrand New energizer powerbank, makes absolutly zero noise ,it did make some when i was at the university but now i cant hear a thing
And My griffin survivor powerbank Arrived today too and it apperently makes zero noise and the griffin reserve Makes Occasional high pitched noise
So to conclude my experience almost all of my powerbanks make Noises at tomes ,other times theyre completely silent Maybe Once the phone passes 80prercent of chagre slow chaging starts or maybe When i use them for prolonged periods Of time this happens Or maybe When the battery on the powerbank is Within a ra ge this happens or maybe it halpens Randomly but I dont think any of them ever got hotter than 45celcius
[doublepost=1518632303][/doublepost]And Jesus bless You bro Youre the only one whos replied to my post that means a lot ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✝️

The tests I just did in response to your posts were on an iPad with 80% or more charged - I'll run it down to a lower percentage and see if that makes a difference. I'll keep playing around with it and post back.

And thank you.

Hey man i found there Is a slight curve On one side of My griffin powerbank (reserve 18200 which is 45usd i guess)
The wierd thing is These noise issues Get much much worse with my 6S plus I bought my 6S plus shortly after its release So its 2.5years i guess and have Used It heavily
Like shooting a 1080p Video of an Anatomy class and Uploading it to the cloud While being attached to powerbank, intensive Games like modern combat5 ,asphalt etc, lots of browsing, lots of You tube watching movies, hotspotting the LTE to multiple Devices for Large downlods And Long hours,I dont know Man i probably Used everything i could On this But treated it well Didnt drop it more than 1-3times And they werent Crazy drops and I had Protection on it but definitly hattery on this thing Is Degraded
Im wondering wheather Its the Battery in my 6s plus Cause the same Powerbank makes No noise with my ipad pro or,minimal noise i mean i tested My griffin survivor with my iphone 6s plus Iphone SE and Ipad pro 11.9 first gen for the ipad pro it makes No noise For the SE it makes Minimal Noise while Using And Is inaudible ,With my 6splus however It Sounds like Its Gonna Blow up in a 5seconds The sound Is more intense and The shape of sound changes It happened wit Aukey and Energizer power banks too im Wondering wheather i should stop charging my 6S plus with powerbanks

[doublepost=1518818141][/doublepost]Your power bank should not be making the noises you described. It might be harmful for your device as well. I would suggest a ZMI or Xiaomi portable charger. They are well-made and much more reliable. If you're in the US, you can get them on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/zmi

Even some iphone hargers Make High pithed Noises When you pay close attention and Some powerbanks make High pitched Noises as Well and i dont think some electrical noise is definitly harmful plus, griffin is not some cheap chinese brand ,and I just prderedan Anker powercore+ 20100 To see wheather it changes or not
But My device Works Perfectly Thank God,and Even while the powerbanks are making noises the phone doesnt get too warm or Become Laggy
I mean there are converters In there curcuits In there but the question is are some powerbanks designed Like this or they should be dead silent even in a silent room

Hey man i ordered The anker 20100 powercore plus which arrived Yesterday
Fully charged it and tested it qith
My iphone There was absolutly no noise until This Evening ,i could here the same high pitched noise But it was Inaudible If It was any further than 5cm from my ear
Do i still need to be concerned and This Mostly happened With my 2.5yo 6s plus which makes Almost every powerbank make Some wierd noise Some Of my other iphones do too like my sisters iphone SE but a Beat more silent
So To summerize this so far I had almost zero noise and No audible noise if it was futher than a few centi metres from my ear
But the same Noise (yeah it sounded almost the same With every powerbank brand )
But this One Was The Most inaudible one And It didnt get warm is built Great and At most times Makes absolutly no noise dont know if the noise means theres sth wrong or Harms the powerbank in the long term Or maybe it gets worse?
Ive got a question im charging the powerbank with a 12wat ipad pro charger which is 5v 2.4amps(correct me if im wrong friend) and since It says 2.4amls 5v on in put of the powerbank i think it should be safe to connect a usb a to usb c to my anker powerbank and Let it charge via apple ipad pro charger
But I have no clue If Its Bad Or good for the device

Thanks in advance Man im probably sticking to anker ive Just ordered Another anker powerbank (26800 powercore + with a wall charger)
And thats If they dont give me problems in future if they do i will probably Never use powerbanks Again
God bless you bro
And thanks fir your help man you helped A LOT❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✝️

Great, glad that is working for you. Anker is a good brand. I did some more tests and couldn't get any results with sound but I am using new devices, not older ones like the 6s or SE. As for charger, the iPad charger should be fine - I switch around chargers on all of my devices and powerbanks, using different Samsung, Apple, and Anker chargers without a problem.

Still there is some times a noise But its the quietest powerbank i ever had
Thanks man I mightve never Considered buying this is you hadnt said that will let ya know when the 26800 powercore+ arrives and about the wall charger
Can inuse it for everything ? I mean for iphone ipad ipod ...?or Its recommended to only use it witht the powerbank itself

Are you asking if you can use the wall charger that comes with the powerbank for charging other devices? Yes, you should be able to as it appears to just be a Qualcomm Quick Charge charger - I have one that I use with all of my devices (my Galaxy S7 Edge is the only device that supports quick charging, though). It should be fine.

Thanks man You definitly helped a lot
One last question is,
Why does my iphone turn off at 14-15 percent ? I guess its the battery according to my knowledge its the old battery in the unit
