Quick quesion, do i set up as new or restore iphone?

    Yea... i'm in the process of jailbreaking and would like to have my old numbers and settings back. i'm on the itunes screen

    set up new iphone

    or

    restore from back up of...

    What do i click on? if I restore will I loose the jailbreak? But I want my old apps and contacts back too.

    Restore from the back up is the one I did, and it put everything alright.

    But, of course I just jailbroke my iphone today, so yeah.

    I hope I helped you.

    PS:I would wait until some of the more experienced people come here, so they could assist you even further.

    I set it up to restore. Got all my old stuff back and everything is great. cant believe I waited this long to jailbreak it.

    +1 ^^^ I just recently did the JB on my 3G iPhone, had some reservations, but finally took the plunge; now I'm helping my friends and relatives JB their iPhones left and right...:cool:
