Quick question about blackbook (or that generation mac)

Will the current minidisplay to VGA cables work with those generation Macbooks? I have the blackbook (as stated in the title) and I'm sure I can get a ride to Best Buy tomorrow if I find out they will work. I'm planning on starting to watch a lot of media and movies and it would be helpful if I could hook my computer monitor up to it. Thanks 🙂

Blackbooks don't have a Mini-DisplayPort. They have Mini-DVI.

the port on your macbook is a mini-dvi not displayport. I have the same macbook, but in white.
