When you buy a refurbished laptop, does it come with a fresh new battery? Or do they just leave the one that originally came with the computer in it?
Thanks for the help!

They'll give you a fresh battery, not a used one. Refurbs are basically brand new computers. They even change the casing (if there were scratches on the original).

Except you don't get the original box with the picture of the Macbook and the brand-new feel to it.

I bought a refurbished, and definitely not disappointed with not having the original box, but I must say, it did have a brand-new feel to it. Everything was perfect.

In coconut battery, it said my Macbook Pro was 3 months old, though.

I bought the macBook pro in my sig (returned it for the new one in but it has not come in yet) refurb and it did have a brand new fell to it. I used istat pro and the battery had 3 cycles on it. It got really hot but i think that normal? Otherwise looked brand new! and i saved $400. Great deal.
