Quick question as I don’t have two phones to test this on:

Situation: I am on a FaceTime audio call on my iPhone, when someone else using WhatsApp tries to call me. (NB: I have WhatsApp on my iPhone).

1. Do I see a call waiting dialogue in my FaceTime audio call?
2. Does the other user on WhatsApp see the “ringing” dialogue?

This question is not answered on WhatsApp’s FAQ page, as WhatsApp refers only to where you are presently on a WhatsApp call.

Thanks for anyone who can test this!!

Can't test it for you, but chances are...

A WhatsApp phone call (or Skype, etc.) is not likely to integrate at all with FaceTime. None of these are phone calls in the strict sense - they are each proprietary video calling apps, routed through each company's servers/system.

What you may encounter is that the iPhone's camera and microphone generally cannot be accessed by multiple apps at the same time. I think this has a bit to do with iPhone security/privacy - preventing one app from listening/viewing while another one is in use. You may very well have to end one call in order to make/receive another call.

I’m pretty sure.
1. You will get the WhatsApp call and will have to switch or end one or let whatsapp keep ringing.

2. yes
