Quick question: First time pre-orderer

I'm on the apple website with trying to order the following for my wife

iPhone SE
64 GB
Rose Gold

It doesn't give a pickup option, only delivery. The dates estimated is April 13-18. I haven't checked out, so is this accurate as far as delivery is concerned? If it is, is it better just to try in store?

The pre-order in my experience usually ships faster than the projected dates. They tend to bump up since a lot of people will cancel their orders. Also, if you find it in a store earlier, you can cancel your pre-order if hasn't shipped.
