If you buy something from Apple on say, a Saturday, and two Saturdays later you are thinking of exchanging/returning it, is that second Saturday considered day 14 or day 15? I would assume it's day 15 and you are SOL, but just curious.

I returned my 6 in the 14 day window.

I purchased it at Best Buy on launch day (Friday 19th). I was told the 14 days was 2 weeks after purchase (Friday October 3). I then asked if the 14 days was from the time of purchase on the receipt....and was told as long as I came in before closing on Friday October 3, I was within the 14 day window.

Return policy is 14 days. Count 14 days including the day of purchase. So if you purchased Saturday, you must return by Friday of that 2nd week.

I believe you assumed initially that the 2nd Saturday was day 14 but you were denied the return. Now you're trying to confirm whether you were given correct info.

I haven't returned/exchanged anything yet - figured I'd clarify the policy first before going in there. What you said is what I thought, but it sounds like this guy's receipt below says otherwise?

It's Sat to Sat (2 weeks later) per my receipt

---

what are you talking about? didn't you get receipt from email?

Yeah but I deleted it, didn't think I'd want to do an exchange (it's just for an accessory)

Looks like I no longer have the receipt. :(

Did you not also request e-mail receipt either? Whenever I buy something from Apple store, I always request both receipt and have another one e-mailed to me.

Edit: NVM just saw the above post.

Doesn't matter if you have the receipt. They can look it up. That's what I did for an exchange. Not sure about returning for a refund though.

It's indeed 14 days from the date of purchase, not including the purchase date. I just exchanged a white silicone case for a red one no problem.

My new receipt says I can return this one through October 25th.
