Quick Question on App purchases and 2 phones

We have two phones synced to the one iTunes that is on our laptop.. So if i purchased an App through itunes, can i download it to BOTH iphones that are synced to that cpu?? just like with the songs?
I dont want to be PAYING for two apps just because.
