Quick Question - RAM speed?

Hey guys,

I've been lurking the forum for quite sometime now and decided to join it.
Anyhow, I have a quick question regarding the RAM on Macbook Pro 15" Mid-2012. I don't know why but I completely forgot to check the MAC ram I was purchasing and took the word of the clerk. I found out that RAM I had purchased has 1333 Mhz. I just realized that my macbook takes in 1600 Mhz. I was wondering if I should go ahead and put it in or just return and buy the other one at 1600 Mhz.

Quick note: I just installed a 840 Samsung SSD 256 GB and my computer is so FAST!

id buy the faster RAM just so your covered because your not supposed to mix RAM either from what I understand.
