quick question re: Trackpad button/Apple store

    Hi all-

    I have a 13 in white macbook and seem to be afflicted with the "sticky" trackpad button issues (it almost seems to bend downwards in the middle of the button). I purchased my machine about 2 weeks ago at Best Buy and made an appt. at the Genius Bar.

    My questions are:
    - Will I run into problems getting complimentary repairs at the Genius Bar since I bought my machine at Best Buy?
    - Has anyone had the sticking trackpad button issue and had it resolved?

    Apple's Warranty covers you no matter where you purchase it.

    I doubt the genius bar will give you any flak. It's an Apple product after all :)

    My trackpad button is coming a little loose (the pre-click thing) after a month and a half. Took it to the genius bar and they quickly offered to replace the top case for me. You shouldn't have any problems, but they will probably have to keep it for a couple of days.
