quick question regarding upgrading iphone

hey, so I don't think im viable for an iphone 4 upgrade quite yet but there is a tech store at my university selling iphones 4 for 200(16gb) and 300(32gb). Should I be free of at&t and apple upgrade ******** if i just purchase it from that store?

No. Those are obviously subsidized prices. In other words, you'll have to sign a new contract to get it at those prices. If you're not upgrade eligible, you'll pay more.

There's no way you can get a 32GB iPhone 4 for $300 without a contract. They cost $780 unsubsidized.

BTW, you can dial *NEW# to find out your upgrade status with AT&T
