Quick question.

I have iCloud Photo Library on my iPhone. Now, is there anyway I can erase the pictures from my iPhone but yet still have them on my iCloud?

I think if you turn off iCloud Library you can delete images stored on your phone or just simply hide them

This is not possible, at least not with iCloud Photo Library. IPL is designed to have the same library synced to the cloud and all of your devices. If space on your phone is a concern you can turn on the optimize device space option for IPL.
