i own an iBook g3/500 year 2001 .. my question is, where can i get an update. my version of this mac is 10.1.5 . is there a way i can upgrade to a higher upgrade.thxz alot

i dont use apple laptop that much. im a pc guy trying out an apple system
 
You can find discs for newer releases on eBay. I have that same machine running Tiger (10.4), and as long as the RAM is bumped up (384 MB is passable, but 640 MB would be better), it's serviceable.
 
by a retail Mac OS X disc. its up to version 10.5 now but the latest you can use due to hardware restraints is 10.4 (Tiger).
