Quick release back case for new 12.9 when not docked to magic keyboard?

Just want and easy on, easy off back case for the days I’m not docked on the magic keyboard. I don’t slam it down but my major concern is how I’m always plopping it down on the camera lens since it protrudes onto whatever surface it’s laid

I resorted to the Apple folio, but that has a front cover flap. God knows at the cost of the thing I'm not about to cut of the front flap

I too would be interested in a minimal back cover that has an easy off, perhaps magnetic attachment, back cover.

OP, are you looking for side protection to? I'm going to search Amazon. Maybe a soft silicon, stretchy back case (with side protection is available). If I find one I'll let everyone know.

Pitaka has one for the 4th gen iPad Pro, and I have read good things about it. Their site says one for the 5th gen will be available this month. That’s what I am currently planning to get. Available on Amazon.

I use a glass screen protector in the front and a decalgirl skin on the back. It still doesn’t quite solve the issue of protruding camera that you mentioned, so I either try to place it down on the front or look carefully for a non abrasive surfacing to place it face up.

This is what I have. The Pitaka MagEZ is pretty much the ideal solution for use with and without the MKB. It looks cool too and at a reasonable price, compared to other solutions. I even ordered the Pitaka air case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max I got last month (arriving tomorrow).
