Quick set up question???

Hello all, enjoying my new 12.9” pro very much. Just got it home and did the quick iPhone to iPad set up.

This is the first device in a long long time I want to set up as new, so after the initial quick set up I only have my iCloud info.

Everything seemed to transfer over accept my safari favorites. Web history is there but not any of my saved favorites. My other iPad iPhone and Mac all are in sync.

Again it’s been a long time since I set up a new device as a new device but I thought once safari is toggled on in iCloud it will auto sync all my favorites,web history etc.

When that happens to me. I usually toggle off safari in ICloud. Then toggle it back on. Usually does the trick on the device with the issue.

Did you set up through itunes? That’s how I did it and everything picked up

It finally kicked in. Thanks for the replies !

Gonna set her up as new then connect to iTunes for its first backup.

Yep, same with me. Favorites did not load right away, but they did after I was trying to install them one by one again later. All of a sudden they appeared. I turned off the computer and came back and turned it on again that did the trick or I did something else, don’t remember. What a relief. Didn’t want to install one by one again.
