Like I'm sure many are, I'm getting quite excited about the release of Steam for Mac. A good chance to get back into some of the older games I left behind on Windows.. Currently, I'm running a Mac Mini, bought last year. It's a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD and Nvidia GeForce 9400M effort, which I understand is quite modest, but does anyone know how well that will stack up with playing games on Steam? As a largely console gamer for pretty much the last decade I'm abit behind on the necessary specs to run alot of games so would like a general idea. I'll mainly be playing some older games like Counter-Strike, as my PS3 will still be my main gaming system, but would also like to check out Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2 and Left 4 Dead 1 & 2. Will my Mini be able to hack it, or should I be looking to upgrade? Cheers for any help folks.
