Quick start, iCloud….old to new setup

Which is the best way to setup a new phone?

Always used iCloud in the past but see the odd post saying it can cause issues, is Quick Start a better option?

(Going from 11Pro to 13Mini).

That’s the easiest. You can always change iCloud stuff later after it’s up and running.

Phone-to-phone during the initial config has worked the best for me. It can be a bit of a wait but the good thing is you don’t lose stuff like your WhatsApp chat history, which I recall (a long time ago) the iCloud backup route did lose.
