Just wondering, what side of the screen is YOUR mac's dock on. Left, right, bottom? Just a fun little survey since i just put mine at the right and i think i like it there.
Thanks!

Bottom and hidden until I need it!

On the right is were I keep my dock.
I like having my documents and web pages take advantage of as much up and down space as possible. since I read from top to bottom.:D

Anything but bottom seems REALLY weird to me, but maybe that is because I've been OS Xing since the public beta when there was nothing but bottom (I always hide unless some app is making it buggy).

Same here. Been using it like that since 10.1 (Puma?).

i didn't know someone did it recently my bad. But yeah it feels kinda weird on the side...but ima try and get used to it!

yeah i've tried hiding it before and it also felt weird...i like seeing my dock...especially sometimes if my email window or twitterific window are hidden behind other windows, i can easily see if i have an email or tweet right on my dock..there is the sound of like an email coming but sometimes i have my macbook muted depending on the environment

Work: Right side of second display, visible.
Home: Also right side of second display, visible.
Laptop: Left side, hidden.

thats interesting, how come you like it on the left side of ur laptop but at the right at home and work? just wondering!

On the desktops, I use the left monitor as my main, and the right as a secondary for Mail, Finder, iTunes, Adium, etc. There is still space for the dock on the far right.

However, if I place the dock on the right side of a single monitor setup, then it gets in the way of scroll bars and such. I found myself constantly accidentally calling it up, or clicking on icons instead of the scroll bar. So, off to the left it went.

Once upon a time I had all of them along the bottom, but that is such an inefficient use of space on widescreen monitors and dual setups.

Bottom and magnified a little. I've tried left and right but they just seemed...weird...un-natural to me. I also tried hidden but again kinda weird...i found i'd usually fail to realise i had new mail or IMs frequently so i stopped hiding

how can you put it bottom left, its centered in the screen?

There are hacks available
