Left hidden, right hand side interferes with scroll bars when windows are full-screen

Bottom, hidden, no magnification.

I sure wish they would allow multiple docks. I would love to have the bottom be apps, the dock on the right side be docs, and the dock on the left side be folders.

Of course I am not using Leopard yet so I am sure stacks will help me manage files and docs and such. Still would like the option and it can't be that difficult to implement.

i think u can with an app called like idock or sumthin. Its on the apple download site. But you gotta buy it

Left side, not hidden. Reminds me of the old Apple menu, avoids the tedious Stacks fan and doesn't get in the way of scrolling.

On the right hand side. I found it frustrting when apps would open up underneath the dock and I couldn't get to the scroll arrows, nor to the bottom corner to resize the window - every time I opened up a document!

The right hand side is convenient as I read left -> and am right-handed, so it seems "natural" for me to have it on the side.

Whatever works for you is fine 🙂

Left side. Not Hidden. No Magnification.

I set it like that the first day I had a Mac in 2004 and have never changed it.

bottom not hidden no magnification i dont like the look of the new side one but i think ill make it like that on my macbook

yeah, i used to not like the side, but now i love it on the left. Its great but without magnification!

Also bottom not hidden no magnification.

IMO magnification is absolutely crap. It's more like something Mr Gates would have.

I was a RH dock person for years, and recently went to LH side, that way my hidden dock does not pop out as much due to scrolling.
