Alright so when I first got my mac I watched a trailer for this video game. It asked me what movie player i'd like to have it set to so whenever I watch something it'll open the player up. I selected Quick Time but now it will never open the videos up that I wanna watch. Is there a way I can set it to another player? help!

We might need a bit more information to be able to answer you more specifically.
Are you talking about a streaming video in a browser? If so, I imagine clearing your cookies (in Safari, this is done in the Security pane of the Preferences) will allow you to reselect the format that is streamed.
Are you talking about an actual video file? If so, then press CONTROL and click on the file,. From the contextual menu, then select Open With and choose a new video player. I have a lot of luck with VLC, so maybe download this if you're keen.
To increase QuickTime's playback abilities, download and install Flip4Mac and Perian.
