On Android and even Windows Phone 8 it's pretty simple and fast to add words to your dictionary. Is there a way I'm not aware of on iOS via a Cydia tweak/app? A way to add a word without having to leave the app you're in?

Currently what I do is go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts.

The reason I need this is because I use English letters to write in another language so what I do is add a shortcut for a word but the shortcut is the word so it never tries to autocorrect it.

Not a direct answer for your question, but check out action menu. It add favorites to the iOS edit menu, plus other cool stuff.

I've used it in the past and it's a cool tweak but it doesn't get this done even with the Plus Pack.

Until you find a tweak that does what you want, you could set an Activator action to bring up the keyboard settings. Then you could go back to what you were doing before by using LastApp, again by assigning it to an Activator action.

That's not a bad idea.
