I'm trying to mount the apple installer cd on debian linux. don't ask. I cannot for the life of me get that f&*$# to actually read it and stay mounted. it didn't like iso9660

by any chance anyone who has experience with using linux on a macbook, experience with loading drivers would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

ok so you type:
Code:
lspci

you should see something like:
Code:
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4321 802.11a/b/g/n (rev 03)

"Wireless" "802.11a/b/g/n" should be the major clue in.

so use google and and the linux drivers:

Code:
http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php

so thats one mystery solved.
