Woud Quickpwn unlock and jailbreak my new iphone 3g on firmware 2.0.2?

There is NO software unlock for the 3G (at least none confirmed) and I believe QuickPwn will tell you if it will work on 2.0.2, but I'm not sure. However, you are better of waiting until after Friday and the 2.1 update, because that will fix many problems, and make Jailborking a more stable matter.

so how is it that there is many iPhone 3g on ebay unlocked for sale?

Those are purchased in countries where they are required to be sold unlocked, Belgium and Italy are confirmed and Hong Kong is reported, or they were purchased as unlocked in other countries like France, then people make a quick buck by selling them to people who want an unlocked iPhone 3G.

We currently don't know. The dev team have been working hard to find a way to unlock the new iPhone 3G. You will probably find out about it soon enough if one is found.
