iPhone quickreply for whatsapp?

    Not yet. I expect it to come soon in a future update though. Such a feature seems like a no-brainer.

    sorry to say but that wont happen, on third party app, apple did not open that API, it sucks i know, next year applie will release it on ios9 and claim it as innovation

    Nope... They added actionable buttons but not quick reply. Former is open to 3rd party, latter is for Messages only.

    The reply button takes you to the app itself and not quick reply for example on the lock screen. Really disappointing, so whatsapp will not get quick reply.

    Ah! Wasn't sure. Just assumed it was quick reply that they had implemented. I don't seem to be getting Twitter notifications for some reason.

    And hopefully chat backup will be supported too! (Mine says not yet supported in iOS 8).

    So the ability to interact with lock screen notifications is limited to stock message apps only? Sucks then. I had looked forward to being able to approve Wordpress apps without having to unlock my iPhone...:(
