I recently started using QS and love it so far. However for some reason when I click on a file in finder or the desktop and activate QS, I can't find "Current File" in the list and am unable to manipulate the desired file in any way. (For example..."Select Current File"..."Delete" or "Resize", etc.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

You first have to search for "Proxy Objects", hit the right arrow key, then search for "Current Selection." You'll probably need to turn on the 'advanced features' checkbox in the Quicksilver preferences. While you're there, you'll probably want to set up a keyboard Trigger so that you don't have to go through the Proxy Objects --> Current Selection commands each time you want to do something with a file.

If any of this didn't make sense, let me know and I can break it down further. Using the Current Selection power of Quicksilver is an awesome timesaver; I use it all the time .

btw, welcome to MacRumors!
