So, here's what I'd like to do...

I'm trying to go through my music library and tag all my music as I listen to it -- right now I'm trying to tag my instrumental tracks with "instrumental" in the grouping and comments field.

thing is though its kind of a pain to have to open file info for each track everytime.

what I'd really like is a way to invoke a command in say Quicksilver (or a keyboard shortcut, or even pulldown a script from the script menu in iTunes) that appends this information for me saving me some time/hassle.

anyone know how it can be done?

Have you used all your star ratings? If not, then you could choose a rating, tag all your instrumental songs with that, then just make a smart playlist and add the details all at once. You can set a QS trigger to rate a song easily.

yeah i guess taht could work... I do try to actually rate my music on occasion, but i rarely give anything a 1 so that might be the answer.
