I came across this site, and I must admit it's a real good place to learn how to use quicksilver. I had downloaded quicksilver before but i never learned how to use, or even how to install it properly. All the tutorials I came across were written, and for some reason I could never get quicksilver to work right. This guy steve, has put 2 videos so far on how to install and then use quicksilver. From my understaning he's going to keep updating the site with more tutorials. After seeing them both, I'm using QS alot more, and I can now understand all the hype and credit the program receives. Enjoy!

I'm really not as impressed as I thought I would be.

Sure it looks cool, but I already know how to use a computer.

First off, I produced the Screencasts and I'm appreciative that it has been posted!

As a brief comment, Quicksilver isn't designed to help you "use your computer." It is designed to help you use your computer "better" and more "efficiently." It has a learning curve, nobody would deny that, but it also saves an incredible amount of time on menial tasks.

If you're doubtful, I'd still recommend giving it a try.

Best of luck!

Steve,

On a positive note I thought they were pretty good screencasts. Have heard people talking about QuickSilver but it is nice to actually have a quick look at it running to get a better idea of what exactly it does as well as the features available!

I just watched the first one and while I didnt learn much as I am already an avid quicksilver fan, I was impressed with the quality of the screencast. Very crisp with out any fluff.

I am looking forward to watching the second one. Nice job to the poster for bring this up and to the site creator. I hope that you continue to do this for other Mac programs.

Other Screencasts

I try to make it a habit of doing about 1 screencast a week. I have done three so far, two of which have already been linked to. The third can be found at the following link, and covers using Witch to replace Command-Tab.

Hope you all enjoy!
