I have Mac Os X Leopard and I was wondering how to change videos so it would go into my VLC app instead of quicktime. Each time I put a disc in, and select a file, it opens up in quicktime. But I want it VLC. How do I do that?

Right click on the file, then click on Get Info. The file info window will show. Navigate to "Open with" and select the app from the drop down selection. Then below it there is a "Change all" button. Click it to open every file that has the same extension with the app you have selected.

Hth.
