hey guys, where is apple link to april 28th 1PM EST broadcast? they can't just have a satelite broadcast. Am I just not seeing the link on thier site?

at this point there is just a satellite broadcast.

There will be a showing of the presentation at the Apple Stores with theaters.

i dont get it, apple pioneers MPEG4 streaming video, makes a big deal out of april 28th and won't even broadcast it online, how hard is that?

They probably want people to gather at the Apple stores for these sorts of things to reinforce the sense of community among mac users... and maybe so that they'll be in a better position to (pre)purchase the newly announced items.
 
All I know is I am making the pilgrimage to Palo Alto for this (the Bay St store doesn't have a theater).

I'd like to catch the fun from home, but I don't mind making the trip to find out what's going on.

yeah i would go but my apple store in roosevelt field doesnt have a theater, so im out of luck.

What about this of us not in North America? I don't have a sat dish anyways but could not access the feed if I did. As Apple have not yet built any Apple Stores outside the USA I can't go to one of those either. Come on Apple treat us right!
