Hey there, I hope I posted this in the right section, if not I apologize, I just got here.

So my problem is this, I'm using Vista (sorry for that 😉), and I'm wanting to watch the Macworld Keynote for like since it came out, but all I get when Quicktime opens is the QT logo, and this bar that keeps going from the left to the right. Then, when I go to (not exactly sure if I'm using the right words, I'm not using english in QT) window>movie properties>there I select the stream>statistics, the maximum I see is 0.38 kb/s?...

So after that I tried changing the port, so I could open it in my modem firewall. When that was done, and QT still kept denying service, I got back to where I changed the port, and QT changed it to -30723?! A negative port?! And it does that every time..

I already tried repairing QT, still the same thing..

Well, that's a pretty long story, hope anyone took the time to read it and help me, I just really want to see the keynote. 🙄

Thanks in advance!

Alrighty then, I fixed it.

The port was UDP, and when I changed it to HTTP, it worked.
