i'm running dual screens, a monitor and my tv. when i open quicktime movies, quicktime never remembers to open on the tv. other apps like itunes will so i'm pretty sure it should just work. i found the pref settings for it, but it looks like it only pertains to full screen mode. what gives?

i would also like to know if theres any native or 3rd party way to control dual screen fullscreen function. certain things like fullscreen itunes coverflow, itunes visualizer, games, etc black out the unused screen. i like to work on my monitor and for obvious reasons leave entertainment on the tv screen.

As great as Apple is...I've never ever liked Quicktime from the first time I used it. I always thought it had sluggish performance and quirky bugs like the one you describe.

This happens to me as well. :(
