how do you make an image from a movie frame?
i've been able to take tha frame out by drag n drop but its always saved as mov file.

also can video be saved as anything other than a mov file? like maybe an mpeg or something?

If you have Quicktime Pro...

File - Export - Movie to Picture (from the drop down menu).

The only problem is that Quicktime saves in Apple pict format, so you would have to convert it to jpg (in Preview) if you want something that isn't chained to Apple.
