Not really sure whether this actually follows under Quicktime, or if it's an issue with my router, but...

Apparently, Quicktime cannot access Apple streams, and whenever it tries to, I lose connection to the internet. I don't know why, whether it's an issue with my router's NAT or what it could possibly be.

Try creating a new user account in System Preferences and seeing if you can access them from there. This should help determine if it's a computer issue or a router issue. :)

Definitely router issue, disabling the SPI firewall in the router gave me access...however, now I have another issue.

It's coming in so broken it might as well have been left on.

Sorry, this isn't the easiest problem to work through. Does your router (whatever brand it is) have a reset function whereby you can restore the factory settings?
