Quicktime Issues?

Hi,

I am playing .avi files and Quicktime closes itself randomly every time I play the files. I've tried playing different files and it still does the same. Any ideas

Have you downloaded any codecs that allow avi files to play in Quicktime, such as Perian?

You could use VLC to play these files instead, too. I find it's very capable in playing avi stuff. 🙂
