So I have quicktime installed and it works perfectly fine in safari. However, when i try to run a QT movie in Firefox, such as the movies on the apple site, it tells me that I need to install Quicktime. Anyone have any suggestions please?

Quicktime not working in Firefox?!

As part of troubleshooting, in Firefox type in "about: plugins" (w/o the space, MacRumors kept converting it to one of the smileys) and see what it says about Quicktime. It may not be helpful, but it'll give you some info and also has a link to redownload Quicktime.
