QuickTime Player 7 on Lion won't let me loop

I'm not using QuickTime Pro and have no plans to do so. I've tried deleting my preferences, deleting my cache, repairing permissions, and re-applying the 10.7.4 Combo Update to my system. No dice yet. 😕
