Quicktime Player Customization

Quicktime player 10.0 is really not customizable, i want to assign middle click and scroll whell buttons like we do with 3rd party software like VLC, gomplayer.

Is there anyway to do it ?

Which version of quicktime is the best and how can i download it ?

Quicktime 7 should be either on your install disk or already in your Utilities folder. It has a lot more options.

I like the minimalist user interface of quicktime 10 but it really lacks essential customisation options.

Is there really a way to do it ?
