When I do a screen recording using QuickTime (running OS X 10.10.2) does anyone know what the bitrate or quality is?

I ask because when I upload to Vimeo it says 852 which is SD, but given this is a retina display and it's my entire screen I'd assume it would be over 10,000 being HD.

Make the recording, and then on playback open the inspector via the Window Menu.

Interesting, 44100 Hz and 2.15mbit/s.

Weird that when pulling into Final Cut Pro, then exporting to 1080p doesn't break the 1k barrier for bit rate.
