I'm trying to install the Quicktime SDK, but have completly failed.

I want to integrate Quicktime controls into a Java application.

The Apple website says I should run a "Custom Install" of Quicktime and select "Quicktime for Java" but when I run the installer all I get is the option to upgrade the quicktime installation I have. Running the installation on a PC as a test only gave me the option of an install, no "custom" option was present.

I'm also trying to install the Quicktime SDK but I get the error message of "You must have 10.3.9 to install" and I have 10.4.8 so it fails. (I'm getting this off http://developer.apple.com/sdk/)

My main concern is trying to install Quicktime for Java. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
