Quicktime Stream of Apple iPhone SDK Event

Ugh, video and audio out of sync in the downloadable mp4 as well.

how to download IPHONE sdk

go to http://developer.apple.com/iphone/do...iphone_sdk.dmg
if it doesn't work login and click download iphone sdk, an email will be sent to your email account, click on the link and try to get through the net traffic. If all goes well you will be downloading the SDK, if not you probably have a screen in front of you that says theres and error or something like that. No worries, just go to http://developer.apple.com/iphone/do...iphone_sdk.dmg again and it should work this time.

*** AN EASY WAY TO GET AROUND THE NET TRAFFIC IS TO REFRESH THE SITE CONSTANTLY. CLICK REFRESH AND WAIT UNTIL IT COMES BACK WITH AN ERROR AND THEN CLICK IT AGAIN, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO PRESS IT VERY QUICKLY BUT YOU WILL GET THROUGH, YOU'LL KNOW ITS WORKED ONCE YOUVE CLICK REFRESH AND IT DOESNT SHOW AN ERROR, BE PATIENT IT WILL LOAD. ALSO IF A PAGE LOADS WITH NO PICTURES JUST CLICK THE BACK BUTTON AND CLICK THE LINK AGAIN IF THE PAGE LOADS, IF NOT JUST REFRESH, REFRESH, REFRESH.

Just watched it and surprisingly it worked well even though i paused and moved sliders. Everything in sync no skipping..freezing. Streamed over a 3mb connection. Macworld 08 Keynote wasn't so peachy though

PS i really wanna play the Super Monkey Ball game and the game Scot Forstall demoed even though it looks unpolished
 
Hey, how did you get the download link? I looked through the source for the page that linked to the stream and didn't find it.
 
There are two stores...makes sense to further differentiate despite the colour differences in icons

iPhone Request Software Forum

I don't know if there is an iPhone Software Request Forum on this site but it would be a nice addition to developers to know what potential customers are requesting.

My first request is an :apple:TV remote

I assume that most jailbreak apps will move over and be available as soon as it is released for real as they can start developing now.

You need get an Intel Mac to write the applications, get a Mini.
 
Watching this presentation gave me chills and actually stirred up more excitement than I have ever had for Apple and their products.

I truly believe every word of what was said at the end of the presentation about "this is the future".

Before this, I thought the iPhone was a truly innovative and great device, but didn't think that it could overtake the actual "SmartPhone" market due to its many Enterprise and software feature limitations.

But now, I believe 100% that the iPhone will become the "Standard" mobile device that everyone has because it will completely engulf the competition within the SmartPhone market. The Exchange support with Activesync blows away the Windows Mobile experience with enterprise exchange data. (Now the only difference between Windows Mobile Exchange support and iPhone Exchange support is the UI experience. It is obvious who wins that.)

The other reason I believe that it will become the "Standard" mobile device is that unlike any other phone on the market, the iPhone now has complete flexibility in how it is perceived and used by the owner.

What other mobile device has the possibility of not only become the best mobile gaming device that is intergrated with phone/photo/web/IM?/etc. for one user (youth/entertainment oriented consumers) and also being the best smartphone with complete Exchange, mobile web, and now outstanding business apps support for a completely different user (business/enterprise oriented consumer)?

Now if I can only gather the strength to wait a few more months for the (crosses-fingers) 3G iPhone + SDK in June to finally get one.
