quicktime to .dv

k i have a .mov clip encoded in sorrenssson 3

want to import it into iMovie, yet everytime i do i get biiig black borders on the top and bottom once its imported (its dvd rez). This does not happen with any .dv clips I've exported from my camera.

Anyway to export from quicktime, or something else to get this into a .dv format to avoid the borders?

Don't forget QTAmateur... it's free and you get the native Quicktime export system. Also, if you plan to do a lot of converting, the $23 VisualHub is real nice to use.
