Quicktime X opening automatically

    Whenever I download a video, upon completion quicktime X opens up automatically. How do I stop it from doing so?

    Unselect "open safe files after downloading" in the general part of Safari preferences .

    Ok thats it thanks! This must be new with SL and Quicktime X because I don't remember Quicktime ever opening video's automatically after download completion.

    That helps. But it stops all of the documents (movies, PDF, pictures..). What if only app I like to stop is QuickTime? Is this possible?
