Quicktime X Playback Speed

Does anyone know if in Quicktime X you can slow down/speed up video playback like you can in QT 7 pro? Can't seem to find anything about this on the net...thanks!

i have the same question. I want to play my videos at like 1.4x speed.

On the macbook if you play a video and use your fingers to scroll sideways, you can play at any speed you want (almost)

Also, if you play then click the FFW button you can play at any multiple of 2, for example 2x, 4x etc...

Additional tip: If clicking Fast Forward while Alt/Option key is pressed, the speed is increased by .1
