Quicktime X stops playing

I create animations. I just installed Snow Leopard with Quicktime 7 in Utilities. When I double click and my animation opens in QT X it plays for awhile and stops before the end. Anyone know why. Its only 17 seconds long. Plays for about 12 seconds.
