Hi guys,

Has anyone downloaded the mpeg 2 codec that you have to purchase from apple to play them and successfully got it to play them under quicktime X and not QT7?

What I'm trying to say is I don't want to have t install QT7 aswell to get the codec working? Is it compatible with just QT X?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure QT X has it built-in. I have a single video that requires this codec and after a fresh install of Snow Leopard QT X opens it without issue.
