Hello,

I'm having a problem with quicktime 7 and wondering if someone can help me. For some odd reasons, quicktime 7 is not showing up on my Mac. So I decided to re-download it but when I get to the section where it asks you where would you like to put quicktime, when I clik ok it tells me that Quicktime is already in my computer, but its not. I looked everywhere in find in spotlight cant seem to find it.

Have you ever had this problem?

Or should I just format my mac, if so it, is it simply to put the snowlepord in my computer and when loading I push on the C button?

Thanks in advance

It sounds like you're running Snow Leopard, in which case you do have Quicktime installed, just not 7. Rather than a download, QT7 needs to be installed from the optional installs on the Snow Leopard disc (a full SL reinstall isn't necessary). Here's the instructions from Apple:
