You kind of take me as a troll. My guess is you're a case maker yourself ******** on this case that no one has really gotten their hands on, am I right? I bet I am.
The case is looking promising. Wish it had been available sooner before I ordered a Dodo case and received the Apple case.
lol no, the Cloak is simply nowhere near as impressive looking as the original design mockups. The materials are cheap, the hinge is sloppy and clumsy, there just aren't any redeeming factors that set it apart as a must have product. Nothing truly innovative and unique.
um, ya.. because that's such an uncommon thing to say. From the small tidbits of information that have been revealed about the zoogue case, particularly the oversized, tacky looking logo (which I think he scaled back), I doubt it'll be a case for me. I'm curious to see what he came up with but would be surprised if it's a design that hasn't already been done by another manufacturer, and done better.

IMO, the case has improved since the first prototype video. However, I still think it's far from meeting original expectations or being a solid contender in what's becoming a more crowded accessories market.
Not counting the issues they are still working on (i.e molding, and thickness), I have two concerns after watching the latest video.
1. The front cover/flap seemed to have a "bow" or warp to it.
2. Not sure how I feel about the silicone-like wrap as being the back or method to insert the iPad. I don't have much user experience with the TPE stuff they say they are using, but if its similar to silicone (which they said they would have preferred to use), then I think that's a big mistake right there. Silicone cases for the iPad so far have been pretty much disappointing. They either tend to be loose or will stretch out over time, and if this TPE stuff is even remote similar, then this case will fail.
The only other thing I wanted to mention from watching the video is that he sort of blew right through the portrait stand. The first prototype video showed that stand being shoddy and falling apart. He at least showed in the new video that it works, but it would have been nice to see the hinge up close to show us that they improved the quality.
All in all, I'm still not overly impressed. I give credit that they look to improving the design (maybe listening to comments?), but this product is still far from the original design mock ups and isn't looking overly interesting compared to the cases that are available now.

I am torn whether I should cancel my order. I really liked the concept overal but see the soft silicon used to hold the back and I really hate silicon cases that attract dust and lint. I would have preferred that they use a tpu type of material that was not a dust magnet.
I just hope we start seeing more cases that do not just look like a purse all these leather cases going around are horrible.

How do you cancel your order online? Does it require a phone call. I am definitely going with a different case (Yoobao - Apple Case Knock-off in leather).
